VISA Requirements
Any foreign visitor wishing to enter Thailand should have a valid passport and a visa.

Guidelines on Hand-Carry Luggage
Based on the recommendations of the International Civil Aviation, passengers flying on domestic and international flight are requested to comply with the following guidelines:
- All liquids, aerosols, and gels in carry on baggage must be carried in containers with capacity not greater than 100 ml
- Liquids carried in container larger than 100 ml are not accepted, even if the containers is partially filled
- Container must be placed in a transparent re-sealable plastic bag of a minimum capacity of 1 litre
- The plastic bag must be presented for visual examination at the screening point
- Only one transparent re-sealable plastic bag per passenger is permitted
- Exemption should be made for mutations, baby milk/ foods special dietary requirements
- Plastic bag must be presented separately from other cabin baggage at screening checkpoint
- Items purchased either at airport duty free shops or on board aircraft must be packed in a sealed plastic bag and display satisfactory proof of purchase
V.A.T. Refunds
Visitors entering the Kingdom on a tourist visa are entitled to refund of the 7% V.A.T. on goods purchased at registered retail outlets. Goods must be at least 5,000 Baht including VAT and must be purchased from each supplier at the amount of at least 2,000 Baht per day. On the purchasing day, present your passport and ask the sales assistant at the store to complete the VAT Refund Application for Tourists Form (P.P.10) and attach the original tax invoices to the form. Each P.P.10 must show a value of goods of 2,000 Baht or more.
Befote departure, present your goods and P.P.10 to Customs Officers for inspection befote check-in. Luxury goods, such as jewelry, gold ornaments, match, glasses, or pen, must once more be inspected by the Revenue Officers at the VAT refund office at the departure lounge alter passport control. You can either present your claim to the Revenue Officers at the VAT Refund Counter or mail it back to the Revenue Department of Thailand or drop it into the box in front of the VAT Refund Office.

Customs
Personal: Customs regulations allow you to bring in a reasonable amount of personal eff ects, a still camera, a video camera, 200 cigarettes or 250 grams of tobacco and one litre of wine or spirits. Narcotics and pornography are strictly prohibited.
